Garlic bread is a delicious and simple dish that can be made with just a few ingredients. It’s perfect as a side dish for pasta, soup or salad, or as an appetizer to share with friends and family. This recipe for garlic bread yields 10 pieces that are crispy on the outside, soft and buttery on the inside, and packed with a rich garlic flavor. The best part? It takes only 20 minutes to make from start to finish!

Ingredients:

  • 1 baguette (about 10 inches long)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

How to prepare the ingredients

  1. Baguette – Slice the baguette into 10 equal pieces, each about 1 inch thick. You can use a serrated knife to make clean cuts.
  2. Unsalted butter – Take 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter and leave it at room temperature for a few hours until it’s soft enough to easily mix with the other ingredients. You can also soften the butter in the microwave for a few seconds, but be careful not to melt it.
  3. Garlic – Peel 2 cloves of garlic and mince them finely with a sharp knife or a garlic press. This will release the garlic’s flavor and aroma, which will infuse the butter mixture.
  4. Fresh parsley – Wash a small bunch of fresh parsley and pat it dry with a paper towel. Remove the stems and chop the leaves finely. You can use a knife or a food processor to chop the parsley, depending on your preference.
  5. Salt and black pepper – Measure out 1/4 teaspoon of salt and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper and set them aside. You can adjust the amount to your taste if you prefer more or less seasoning.
  6. Parmesan cheese – Grate 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese using a cheese grater or a food processor. You can also use pre-grated cheese if you prefer.

Once you have all the ingredients prepared, you can follow the cooking procedure in the recipe to make the garlic bread. Enjoy!
