- Prep Time
- 1 tbsp cooking oil
- 1/2 cup white onion, chopped
- 1/2 kg pork belly, chopped into large cubes
- 1 tbsp fish sauce
- 1/4 cup tomatoes, quarter sliced
- 33 g banana pepper, (1 small 4" long)
- 4 cups water
- 1 cup string beans, chop 2 inch lengths
- 1/2 cup radish, sliced
- 1/2 cup eggplant, diagonal slices
- 20 g pack of sinigang mix
- 1 cup kangkong

Sinigang na Baboy Recipe
- Sauté onion in preheated pot until layers separate.
- Add the pork. Cook until light brown.
- Add the tomatoes. Cook with pork and onions for 2 minutes.
- Pour the fish sauce. Continue cookng for another 2 minutes.
- When the pork has reached the desired tenderness, add water and stir. Boil with the lid on.
- After 2 minutes of boiling, add the banana pepper, string beans, and radish. Boil again.
- As soon as it boils, add the eggplant and sinigang mix. Simmer for 15 minutes with the lid on.
- Add the kangkong. Simmer for 5 minutes then turn heat off. Serve hot with rice. Enjoy your Pork Sinigang!
